ASP.NET Core + SQL Server Relational Database Architecture | Rajdip Khavad

Cemetery Cloud launched a project to modernize traditional cemetery management with a secure, cloud-based digital platform. The goal was to streamline plot data, manage burial records, and handle sensitive operations — all through a secure, cloud-based environment. My contribution focused on designing and building the backend infrastructure to support real-time data, multiple user roles, and secure administrative workflows.

The Challenge

Managing cemetery operations manually had long been inefficient — from outdated paper-based records to fragmented spreadsheets.

  • Cemetery Cloud wanted a solution that could:
  • Centralize burial and ownership data
  • Offer real-time access to plot statuses
  • Handle booking processes across multiple locations
  • Ensure security, data accuracy, and operational transparency

 

The challenge lay in building a backend system that was reliable, scalable, and flexible enough to handle complex cemetery data without performance lags or downtime.

The Solution

The project team developed a custom digital product with a cloud-native foundation, tailored specifically to cemetery operations.

  • My role as a Backend & Database Engineer involved:
  • Designing a scalable architecture that supports multi-location cemetery operations
  • Building secure admin roles for different user types — from cemetery staff to internal supervisors
  • Creating an automated booking and record management system to ensure operational efficiency

Developing custom APIs for real-time interactions, such as plot availability and history tracking
Every feature was built to optimize speed, accuracy, and control — reducing the manual burden on cemetery staff and allowing operations to run more efficiently.

Outcome

The result was a high-performance digital platform that Cemetery Cloud now uses to manage daily operations seamlessly.

\u2028I contributed to helping Cemetery Cloud move from fragmented legacy tools to a unified, secure system that simplifies cemetery management through database and backend engineering.
